Side Table Do-up

I bought this brilliant side table from Trademe (NZ's version of ebay) for $10 recently to do up.  Instead of sanding off the orange paint (which was house paint so is quite rubbery) I used a paint scrapper, so it only took my about an hour to scrap it all off. then a light sand, and 2 coats of satin varnish, and I picked a test pot colour for the draws. I sanded down the handles and all done! It was a nice way to spend a sunday afternoon!
