Craft2.0 & Snapper Contest Description & Official Rules

Embrace your inner maker and craft up a cover for your snapper

all you need to do is make a holder/ cover/cosy for a snapper card, or usb

the cover needs to fit a snapper card or usb

and even more importantly your snapper needs to work through the cover

Once you’ve made your cover All you need to do is

email a photo of your snapper cover to photos @ craft2.org before August 27th
OR
post your snapper cover to Snapper HQ before August 27th

After August 27th our panel of Judges will select the best covers to go onto the public voting round

From September 1st it’s then up to the public to decide the overall winner. There will be 2 weeks of voting hosted by The Wellingtonista

after the results are checked and totaled we announce the winners
and send prizes their way

Terms and eligibility
1) The Smarten Your Snapper competition opens on July 30th 2009. Entries must be received by August 27th 2009.
2) Public voting on Smarten Your Snapper begins midday September 1st and finishes 5pm September 14th
3) The Smarten Your Snapper competition is open to any crafty person, anywhere in the world.
4) If you are under the age of 16, you should get a parent or guardian’s permission before you enter.
5) Employees of Snapper, Craft2.0 and their immediate families are ineligible for the prizes.
6) You may enter as many times as you like. Prizes are attributed to a cosy. this means one person can enter multiple times with different cosys
7) The People’s Choice Award can only be won by an entry submitted to the Invitation Round, between time/date and time/date.
7) Winners will be notified by email as provided in the entry form and announced on the Craft2.0, Snapper and Wellingtonista websites, and through external media.
8) Judges’s decision is final in every situation and no correspondence will be entered into.
9) Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.
10) Craft2.0 will not pass on your personal details to any other organisation without your permission, except for the purposes of running this competition.
11) Winner may forfeit their prize if Sponsors are unable to contact him or her within 7 days of first attempted notification. No prize substitutions will be permitted, except Sponsors may substitute any prize with one of equal or greater retail value. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use each winner’s name, prize won, hometown and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity including online posting without additional compensation.

Your intellectual property and copyright
1) You retain ownership of all your intellectual property rights for your creations.
2) This means that whether you win a prize or not, you retain ownership of your creations, including any financial benefits that may flow from them.
